Тема: «Їжа. Традиції харчування»
Мета:
навчальна активізувати лексику по темі, вдосконалювати навички писемного й усного мовлення; вчити сприймати текст на слух, виділяючи специфічну інформацію;
розвиваюча розвивати в учнів навички монологічного мовлення; навички читання та аудіювання; творчу активність учнів, їх мислення шляхом розв`язання поставлених цілей;
виховна виховувати культуру спілкування та бажання дотримуватись здорового способу життя.
Тип уроку: урок узагальнення та систематизація знань.
Обладнання: підручник, робочий зошит, картки із завданнями, аудіозапис тексту для аудіювання.

Хід уроку
І. Організаційна частина уроку.
1. Привітання.
T: - Hello, my pupils!
Ch: - Hello, my teacher!
T: - I am very glad to see you. How are you? Who is on duty today? What day is today? What date is it today? Who is absent today? Lets start our English lesson.
2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.
T. Look at the blackboard! You can see a proverb on it. Who will read it?
P1: “Don’t live to eat, eat to live”.
T: Thank you! So the topic of our lesson is “Food”.
The proverb on the blackboard is the motto of our lesson today. On today`s lesson we`re going to speak about food. We`ll read a text about meals, remember the names of different kinds of food, listen to the text, read the text “School dinners in the UK” and do a test. So, let`s start.

-What do you prefer to have for breakfast / dinner / supper?
-You don’t have dinner at home, do you?
-Do you like to have meals at a cafe?
-Which is your favorite dish?
-What kind of food do you prefer plant or animal food?

-Which food is healthier raw or cooked? Why?

Lunch at School.
Twelve o`clock is the time for lunch in our school. Children are running to the school cafe. They are thirsty and very hungry. Today they have some potatoes and some fish, a glass of tea and some biscuits for their lunch. There are also different kinds of burgers, pizzas and salads. Pupils can buy bottles of water, cans of lemonade or cartons of juice. My friend Pete likes to buy a bar of chocolate or a box of sweets. We like to have lunch at school.
